Inauguration of the new vathouse at Château Roylland.

To offer wine enthusiasts an enhanced premium grand cru, Chateau Roylland has committed itself to the complete renovation of its old vathouse. The latter was equipped with large capacity stainless steel and concrete vats.

To innovate and progress and thus produce higher quality wine, we created a modern, completely new vathouse. It now holds 11 concrete vats of smaller capacity, allowing us to isolate crop production by grape variety and harvest date for better-crafted wines. Furthermore, a soil survey will help us specifically identify and divide the harvest with more precision into separate vats to ensure the mastery of plot-by-plot vinification.

This new vathouse will host its first harvest in early autumn 2021.
