2021 Open House Day in Saint-Émilion: Château Roylland opened its doors to the public
Typically organised in May, the Open Doors event of Saint-Émilion châteaux took place this year at the beginning of the summer, on 19 and 20 June 2021. Meetings with winegrowers, wine tastings, guided tours of the properties, art exhibitions, and more were ideal for learning about Bordeaux wines.
Organised by the Saint-Émilion Wine Council and La Maison du Vin de Saint-Émilion, this Open House weekend was an excellent opportunity to discover the richness of the Saint-Émilion wine heritage.
Throughout this weekend, the châteaux of the Saint-Émilion appellation opened their doors to the public. Evidently, Château Roylland took part in the celebration! Visitors had the opportunity to visit the property at no charge and win some prize bottles thanks to a contest organised for the occasion.
Another famous event took place at Château Roylland the following month. On 17-18 July 2021, Château Roylland welcomed the famed race Tour de France riders at Stage 20 between Libourne and Saint-Émilion. During this event, Château Roylland reopened its doors to the public for a weekend.
