Le Gîte du Roy is an outbuilding of Château Roylland that has been tastefully converted to provide comfortable guest accommodation. In this fully renovated dwelling, you will benefit from all the necessary amenities and a prime location to explore the beautiful region of Saint-Émilion.

The Setting: Stay in a tranquil haven in the midst of Château Roylland vineyard (Saint-Émilion Grand Cru), opposite Château Angélus, on the hills of Saint-Émilion and just a two-kilometre walk away from the historic centre of the picturesque medieval town of Saint-Émilion, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Accommodation: The gîte can accommodate up to seven guests —a living room on the ground floor with a double sofa bed, fully equipped kitchen, WC and shower room. On the top floor, there is a master suite (Queen size bed 160 X 200 cm) with a free-standing bath and a bedroom with two beds (one double, one single). Linen provided.
To linger and sip a glass or two, a private garden and terrace, table and chairs, BBQ and deckchairs.
The Gîte du Roy sits in an outbuilding of Château Roylland, a vast, century-old wine estate. Only a two-kilometre walk from the charming medieval town of Saint-Émilion, less than 50 km from Bordeaux, you will enjoy an intimate accommodation in the midst of the beautiful winemaking landscape. We will gladly take you on a vineyard tour and tasting of our crus before you pursue your discovery of the Libourne wine region. In addition, a private garden and terrace with deck furniture will allow you to enjoy your meals and barbecues at your leisure.
Our cosy and tranquil accommodation for up to seven guests has been entirely refurbished to offer the best comfort throughout your stay.
Ground Floor
A living room with a double sofa bed, fully equipped kitchen (oven cooking hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher) and dining table and chairs. Shower room and separate WC.
Top floor
A master suite (Queen size bed 160 X 200 cm) with a free-standing bath.
A second bedroom with a double bed (140 x 190 cm) and a single bed (90 x 190 cm).
Bed linen and towels are provided.
Outdoor Amenities
A private garden with terrace. Garden furniture: table and chairs for six people and deckchairs. BBQ.
